I lost vision of my right eye due to cataract For the last few years I was leading life semi blind alike unable to meet the operational expenses to have my ill effected eye set right due to acute poverty and being a helpless widow.
At one of their recently conducted free Eye camps I was referred for surgery eventually there is a new lease of life to my right eye.
Least did I ever imagine that I could ever be able to retreat my lost vision. Thanks to the Alpha Foundation.

Saber Pasha ----- Victim of Whitener

Mr. Saber Pasha aged 12 studying 3rd standard of Madarsa education is a resident of Erragunta a slum near Chandrayangutta.

On account of unfriendly surroundings and unsocial peer group pressure Mr.Saber Pasha got addicted to consuming whitener substance and fell into a fatal condition. 

As per the request of A.P.State Leagal Services Authority, The Alpha Foundation decided to donate the entire amount of Rs 30,000 in monthly installments for de-addiction treatment of Saber Pasha in “Jeevan dhara” de-addiction centre. Accordingly, the Director along with Community Welfare Officer went to the centre interacted with the boy and gave an amount of Rs 7,500 to the in charge of the centre Mr.Wincent   as a first installment on 7-2-2007.    

Medical Support to Mrs. Manikumari

Mrs. Manikumari aged 23 hails from a poor family. She has been afflicted with deadly neurological disease which caused giddiness, sleeplessness and affected the eye sight. As per the advice given by the Doctor she is required to take medicines which cost Rs 100 a day. On account of this health problem she lost her job, first pregnancy and fell into a desperate condition. The Alpha foundation helped her by supporting the medicinal expenditure of Rs 12000 for a period of 4 months



S.Srinivas, 100% handicapped pursuing his MBA dream

Mr. S.Srinivas, a student of MBA in Matrusri Institute of Post Graduation studies, residing in a rented house in Singidi basti of  NBT nagar, at Banjarahills, raod no: 12,is a   100%  orthopaedically handicapped person. He has to cover a distance of 32 k.mt to & fro to go and come back from the college.

He paid his MBA first year fee Rs 23,500 by borrowing from his relatives. Appreciating the indomitable spirit of Mr.Srinivas to pursue his higher education against all odds and duly finding out the authenticity of the case and fee details, The Alpha Foundation came forward to help him out by way of sponsoring his entire MBA term fee. An amount of Rs 23,350 as first year term fee will be reimbursed subject to his passing out of I Semester and Rs 23,350 as second year term fee will be given subject to his successful completion of II semester exams.
